Justin Stang is a 14-year resident of Olympia who lives on the Westside with his wife, Willow - a public school teacher, and their beloved dog, Mr. Rogers. Over the years, Justin has experienced life in Olympia from many perspectives: as a downtown renter and musician struggling to make ends meet, a Westside homeowner, a small business owner, and now a rental property owner.
His professional journey has included private industry and nonprofit advocacy, including his work with South Sound YMCA, Hama Hama Oyster Co., and his current role as a policy analyst with the Pacific Coast Shellfish Growers Association. He is an active member of the Shellfish Growers Climate Coalition and volunteers and fundraises for ALS-focused organizations like the ALS Association Evergreen Chapter and Team Gleason.
With strong ties to Olympia’s restaurant and small business community, Justin brings a collaborative spirit and a unique ability to connect people across different backgrounds. He believes that addressing Olympia’s biggest challenges will require more people at the table—and he’s ready to help bring them there.
It may sound a little cliché, but Justin truly knows and loves this city. His deep roots, real-world experience, and contagious enthusiasm fuel his commitment to making Olympia an even better place to live for everyone.
